Motion analysis of arc spots on tungsten fuzz by means of self-avoiding random walk model

چکیده

Abstract Arc spot motions on nanostructrued “fuzz” tungsten surfaces are investigated the basis of a two-dimensional Monte Carlo random walk simulation. To compare with previous experimental results, effects self-avoiding, bifurcation and extinction arc spots, as well fuzz thickness dependence, included in Under given temporal current profile which is set close possible to experiment, results derived from simulation reveal that motion number spots depend significantly thickness.

Continuous time ‘ true ’ self - avoiding random walk on Z

We consider the continuous time version of the 'true' or 'myopic' self-avoiding random walk with site repulsion in 1d. The Ray – Knight-type method which was applied in [15] to the discrete time and edge repulsion case, is applicable to this model with some modifications. We present a limit theorem for the local time of the walk and a local limit theorem for the displacement.

a study on insurer solvency by panel data model: the case of iranian insurance market

the aim of this thesis is an approach for assessing insurer’s solvency for iranian insurance companies. we use of economic data with both time series and cross-sectional variation, thus by using the panel data model will survey the insurer solvency.

Efficient modularity optimization by self-avoiding walk

Different kinds of random walks have showed to be useful in the study of the structural properties of complex networks. Among them, the restricted dynamics of the self-avoiding random walk (SAW), which reaches only unvisited vertices in the same walk, has been succesfully used in network exploration. SAWs are therefore a promising tool to investigate community structures in networks. Despite it...

Self-avoiding random walk with multiple site weightings and restrictions.

We introduce a new class of models for polymer collapse, given by random walks on regular lattices which are weighted according to multiple site visits. A Boltzmann weight omegal is assigned to each (l+1)-fold visited lattice site, and self-avoidance is incorporated by restricting to a maximal number K of visits to any site via setting omegal=0 for l>or=K. In this Letter we study this model on ...

Bond - True Self - Avoiding Walk on Z

Thètrue' self-avoiding walk with bond repulsion is a nearest neighbour random walk on Z, for which the probability of jumping along a bond of the lattice is proportional to exp(?g number of previous jumps along that bond). First we prove a limit theorem for the distribution of the local time process of this walk. Using this result, later we prove a local limit theorem, as A ! 1, for the distrib...
